I grew up in the countryside of Upstate, NY - just outside of Ithaca.  Since moving to the city, I have struggled to find beauty in urbanity, longing for the rolling hills and thick forests of home.  

However, of late I have found a special type of quiet aesthetic calm in the way Allston-Brighton appears in the dusk and pre-dusk light.  I have attempted to capture that in the following photo series.
